Previous recipients of these awards are eligible to apply, however priority will be given to first-time applicants. 

Graduate Program

The Siasconset Civic Association awards a scholarship of $3,000 each year to a qualified Nantucket High School senior who is a current, year-round resident of 'Sconset or a recent graduate of Nantucket High School whose family resides in ‘Sconset year-round. The purpose of this program is to encourage and support the enrichment of their education.

Students who participate in the following are eligible for this scholarship: 

  • Advanced classes or programs
  • Work study programs
  • Vocational training
  • Programs in the arts
  • Study abroad or exchange program
  • Unpaid summer internships 
  • College scholarships 
  • Graduate programs

Summer Study Program


The Siasconset Civic Association awards a scholarship of $1,000 each year to a qualified 
Nantucket High School freshman, sophomore or junior who is a current, year-round Sconset resident. The purpose of this program is to advance knowledge and experience that would benefit the applicants future academic or technical skills.

Students who participate in the following are eligible for this scholarship:

  • Advanced classes or programs
  • Work study programs
  • Vocational training
  • Programs in the arts
  • Study abroad or exchange program
  • Unpaid summer internships
  • Experiential education program
