If you own or rent in 'Sconset, please join the 'Sconset Civic Association and help us achieve our goals.  Together, we can make a difference!

The more members the Civic Association has, the more we can achieve. For example, the Board will have "more weight" when advocating for specific measures or budget items.

To join, click on the "JOIN" button above and follow the prompts after reading below about membership dues. Note that up to two members of your household can be added as part of your membership "bundle" at no additional cost.  

Note: Only "bundle" members will listed separately as a member in the Member Directory, have access to member-only content, and receive Civic Association emails directly.

Membership Dues
Only those who have paid their annual dues will be allowed to vote on matters that come up for a vote by members at the annual meetings for members.

Annual membership dues are $40 per household (up to two members) and are used to pay for operating expenses. The renewal date for all memberships, regardless of the date of joining, is June 1st of every year. 

Payment of dues can be made online or by mail. However,  please see the information at the right regarding when a PayPay account is required (and not required). 

Because of the tax status of the Association under the U.S. tax code, please note that the payment of membership dues is not tax deductible.

Donations from members are also very welcome!  
If made directly to the Siasconset Civic Association (using the Donate page of this website or by sending a check), they will be used to help cover operating expenses but please note that they are not tax deductible.  

Tax deductible donations can be made to the Community Foundation of Nantucket, earmarked for the 'Sconset Civic Association Fund, and will be used to fund special projects to benefit the 'Sconset community.  Click here to make a tax deductible donation.


Payment of membership dues for an ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP (renewal required each year) can be made online  with a CREDIT CARD, VISA DEBIT CARD, or a PAYPAL ACCOUNT.  However, a SUSTAINING MEMBERSHIP (recurring payments authorized) can only be set up using a PayPal account as don't have the ability to safely store credit card information. 

For payment of ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP dues:

Even though you will be redirected to a PayPal site when choosing to pay online, you will have the option of paying by credit card or VISA Debit card if you do not wish to pay via a PayPal account. Just click on the "Checkout as Guest." 

You do not need a PayPal account to be able to pay by credit or Visa Debit card and PayPal will not store your card information.
