Student Scholarship Program

The Siasconset Civic Association awards a one-time scholarship of up to $2,500 each year to a qualified Nantucket High School senior who is a current, year-round resident of 'Sconset. The purpose of the scholarship program is to encourage and support the pursuit of higher education by Nantucket High School seniors who reside full-time in Siasconset. The scholarship may be granted to a student pursing a college education, trade school education, or other advanced degree post high school.

2017 Recipient

Emma Hunter is the daughter of Bill Hunter, an attorney on Nantucket, and Juliet Farlow Hunter, a realtor. Juliet's mother lived on Baxter road for for more than three decades and the Hunters now live on Sankaty Road year-round. Emma will be attending Mount Holyoke.

2016 Recipient

Elizabeth Eldridge is daughter of Earl and Amy Eldridge and granddaughter of Nelson (Snooky) Eldridge. Elizabeth plans to attend Anna Maria College in Paxton, MA, and major in Fire Science.
