BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The affairs of the Siasconset Civic Association are managed by a Board of Directors. Board members other than Officers are elected for a term of three years, with the option of serving two consecutive terms if re-elected.  Officers of the Board are elected annually and may serve in the same position for up to four years if re-elected. All Board members serve without compensation.  

Nominations
A nominating committee, consisting of three Association members, is formed each year to nominate candidates for that year's election.  Nominations by others must be submitted in writing to the President or Clerk of the Association at least 10 days before the annual meeting of members to elect new Board members and Officers, and shall include the nominee's address (on-island and off-island), telephone number(s), signatures of at least 5 members of the Association, and a written statement by the nominee indicating his or her consent to be nominated.
